Should
sugary beverages be taxed like cigarettes? As a trend to limit or ban
soft drinks consumption moves across the country, PBS NewsHour
correspondent Spencer Michels reports on efforts by the city of Richmond
to tax soda. While health experts say it will help stem high obesity
rates, others say it will unfairly target those who are least able to
afford the penny-per-ounce tax on sugary drinks.
